This is a site dedicated to this very special ancient breed.  Most people know Dogue de Bordeaux as being the loveable drooling junkyard dog who wrecks Tom Hank’s career – home and romance in the movie Turner & Hooch and there’s no denying that they do drool!

Nonetheless – you will be hard pressed to find a  more intelligent – loyal and lovable companion than these easy going laid back souls.

Hi – I’m Kelly Marriott and I fell under the spell of these loving giants about 10 years years ago. . .

. . .  at that time life had dealt me a series of blows as it sometimes can that left me wondering why I was even bothering to get up in the morning.  That was when Riley my first Dogue de Bordeaux stepped into my life with her big paws and bigger heart.  Her presence had a profound effect on my life and as a result – I have devoted myself to breeding these gentle giants to help to maintain the integrity of the breed in a way that puts the well being of our dogues first.  Sharing the beauty – gentleness and devoted loyalty of Dogue de Bordeaux with others became my passion and Willow Creek Bordeaux was born.

I directed my energies into developing Willow Creek Bordeaux into something that I could be proud of.  It is a small family breeding kennel dedicated to bringing out all of the qualities we so love in our Dogues to their highest level.  For us the breeding of these dogues for us is not a business – it’s a labour of love and our dogues are family.  We hope that you will take the time to browse our site and become more familiar with our family of dogues as well as enjoying the additional information we’ve provided for the raising and caring of these magnificent animals.
